Generations Park

We designed Generations Park for the town of Bridgewater, one of the gems of the Shenandoah Valley. A delicate roof system was designed to float lightly over an oval skating rink that triples as a farmer’s market and performance venue for 6 months of the year.

As a new focal point for Bridgewater, Generations Park features a restaurant and café, open year round. We kept the restaurant close to the street to maintain the urban definition established by the buildings that so nicely define the streets of downtown Bridgewater.
